We want your knowledge and expertise!<br><br><strong>Job Summary and Qualifications</strong><br><br>The Virtual Registered Nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills and understands the unique aspects of the population served in the care of his/her patients. Will utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes and communicate need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations. Promotes a positive image of nursing and promotes collegiality among healthcare team members. The Registered Nurse may rotate to areas other than his/her assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. <br><br>1.Identifiesand individualizes patient goals. Compares expected and achieved outcomes of nursing care utilizing the plan of care (POC)consistent with the patient's status, and then formulates, individualizes, and modifies patient plan of care. <br><br>2. Completes assessments of patient's/significant others' response to illness, the use of coping mechanisms and emotional needs, and incorporates family/significant other into plan of care and reflects the plan of care is individualized for each patient. <br><br>3. Recognizes and reports errors and unusual occurrences. Analyzes and identifies precipitating factors. <br><br>4. Recognizes and responds to crisis situations. Notifies appropriate individuals of actual or impending crisis. <br><br>5. Reports and documents patient's symptoms, responses, and progress. Interventions area appropriate to patient's symptoms, responses, and progress. <br><br><b>What qualifications you will need:</b><br><br>Licensure/Certification/Registration: <br><br><ul><li>Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure. </li><li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS)</li><li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).</li></ul><br>Education: <br><br><ul><li>Graduate of a certified School of Nursing.
