Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation: Starting pay rate of $18.00 - 18.72, adjusted based on experience.
  • Benefits: Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e., food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Job Summary:

The Killington Adventure Center offers attractions for all levels of fun. Adventure Center Attendants are responsible for the daily operation of Killington’s Beast Mountain Coaster, K-1 Gondola, Zip Line Racer, Skye Ropes Course, Soaring Eagle, Trampoline Jump and Amaze'n Maze. Attendants will conduct daily inspections of the attractions, maintain equipment, assist securing guests, and provide instruction for the safe and proper use of attractions.


Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet guests in a friendly manner, and answer a variety of questions about the resort and the area

  • Explain all procedures to guests and ensure that all safety procedures are followed

  • Monitor the operation of the summer attractions continually, and notify appropriate personnel of any problems or unusual conditions

  • Perform all necessary opening, operating, and closing procedures to the attractions

  • Ensure that all guests have valid tickets or wrist bands

  • Complete daily operations report

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years of age
  • Must work quickly and alertly and strictly observe safety procedures
  • Ability to learn a variety of information about activities, events, policies, procedures, schedules, and the like pertaining to the resort and the area

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to deal with guests in a courteous, efficient, and confident/authoritative manner

  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds consistently

  • Physical ability to push, pull, bend, and squat

  • Physical ability to work outdoors, standing for long periods of time in all types of weather
