Job Summary: The Treasury Operations Specialist I provides top-tier support for customers utilizing commercial systems and applications, including (but not limited to): Business Online Banking, Check Positive Pay, ACH Origination, Wire Transfer, Bill Pay, Lockbox, Remote Deposit and Commercial Vault. Assistance is provided via phone, email, online banking message center and in-person and regularly involves completing tasks related to business services and products. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s character qualities.

Essential Functions: All expectations described in the job description’s essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Uses critical thinking and follows established procedures to mitigate risk and prevent losses for both INTRUST bank and commercial customers. Maintains a high attention to detail and can quickly identify high-risk situations, escalating complex issues to level 2 specialist or management.
  • Responsible for facilitation of contract execution, profile setup and processing, product, and application training. Upholds a high level of accuracy with all documentation.
  • Responds to all requests for assistance, providing reliable support to internal and external customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. Identifies issues and designs solutions for an optimal resolution.
  • Maintains knowledge of INTRUST’s Treasury Management offerings to provide top-tier support to customers. Proactively uncovers customer needs and enhances relationships by offering appropriate products and services.
  • Provides feedback on both internal and end-user experiences for all supported applications. Advocates on behalf of customer by sharing suggestions for future application enhancements.
  • Accurately and efficiently researches and resolves discrepancies and errors using independent decision-making. Informs management and account officers of customer impact issues.
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks at once, accomplishing detailed tasks in a short time frame. Prioritize work to meet deadlines critical to the position.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years related job experience required. Previous experience in banking operations and customer service required. Experience with ACH files and Treasury related products is preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent customer service skills are required. Strong oral, written communication, and organizational skills. Ability to travel to offer onsite assistance to commercial customers. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task utilizing multiple computer programs. Computer experience with a knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: None.

Physical Demands: Extended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Must be able to hear and speak clearly both face-to-face and over the phone. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Working Conditions: Normal office conditions.
