At BIC World, you are empowered to take ownership of your career and use your unique perspective to make a meaningful, global impact on our mission.<br><br><strong>Summary<br><br></strong>The Warehouse Operator II is responsible for operating all types of equipment – including, but not limited to, RF Scanners and Forklifts– for the purpose of performing various duties such as downloading inbound shipments, receiving shipments, downloading receiving related paperwork, communicating with corporate regarding schedule planning and inbound receiving issues, pallet pulling, and put away.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ensure that product is shipped out of the distribution center in a timely and effective manner</li><li>Stack pallets appropriately (straight, heavy at bottom, labels out)</li><li>Lift product and place on pallets</li><li>Use material handling equipment, once trained, to safely remove product from SULB lanes to ship prep station, staging area, or onto outgoing truck</li><li>Process, wrap, and label pallets at ship prep stationMove items to correct location is product is sent down wrong chute or is unable to read by scanner</li><li>Understand process if UPS labeling area (load loose items, continuous flow, special orders, and single cartons)<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must have good communication skills – both verbal and written</li><li>Experience in operating a high-reach, stand-up forklift</li><li>Available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed Must display a strong work ethic and sense of urgency</li><li>Ability to work in a team-based, feedback friendly, environment</li><li>Display high attention to detail, organization, and a process-driven mindset Must be knowledgeable and abide by all company safety policies and proceduresPrevious work experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment</li><li>Ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours a dayMust be able to work in a production environment that involves lifting boxes and product up to 40 pounds.</li><li>Work requires moderate physical effort and the use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity<br><br></li></ul>BIC World is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
